Important: We operate a professional education and teaching environment. The terms and conditions are written in a strict and practical manner. In the event of mandatory legislation (e.g., consumer regulations), the law takes precedence.
1) Scope

These terms and conditions apply to the purchase, participation, and use of our services and content on our websites, emails, and platforms. If a specific service has special terms and conditions (e.g., a program, contract, offer, or written agreement), the special terms and conditions apply as a supplement and take precedence in the event of a conflict.

We offer both B2C (consumers) and B2B (businesses). Consumers' mandatory rights cannot be waived.

2) Ordering, payment & installment plans

Binding purchase: An order is binding once checkout has been completed and confirmation has been displayed/sent.

Currency: Prices are shown in DKK unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Price display: For B2C, prices are displayed including VAT as a starting point when VAT is to be charged. For B2B, prices can be stated excluding VAT, and invoicing takes place as agreed.

Payment methods: The available payment methods are listed at checkout or by agreement.

Installment payment (terms depend on program/agreement)

  • Plan & deadlines: The payment plan and payment deadlines are specified in the program or the written agreement.
  • No interest (as a rule): Installment plans are typically interest-free, unless otherwise stated in the agreement.
  • Late payment fee: Fees may apply (e.g. , $25) if specified for the specific program or agreed in writing.
  • Certification & confirmations: Certification, documentation, and confirmations are generally issued only after full payment has been received.
Please note: If, in special cases, we choose to certify before full payment (e.g., in the case of an extended payment agreement), this does not change the payment obligation. This can only be agreed in writing.
3) Cancellation, rebooking, refund, and no-show

Courses & shorter programs

  • ≥ 30 days before start: Full refund.
  • < 30 dage før start: Ingen refund.
  • Illness/serious reasons: As a rule, no refunds will be given, but we can offer rebooking for a future course, depending on availability and subject to written agreement (possibly with an additional fee).

Workshops (including clips)

  • No-show: $8 no-show fee + clip/booking consumed.

If we cancel

If we cancel a course/training program, we will refund you in full. Alternatively, you can choose to move to a future class if that suits you.

Space availability: Transfer to future teams/courses is always subject to available capacity.
4) Right of withdrawal (B2C — online purchases)

If you are acting as a consumer in a distance sale (online/telephone), you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. If you choose to have the delivery start immediately (e.g., access to classes/materials), the right of withdrawal may be wholly or partially waived for the part that has already been delivered, provided this is clearly accepted at the time of purchase.

How to cancel

Send a clear message to info@yogabible.dk with your name, order, and service. We will confirm receipt and describe the next steps.

5) Value Added Tax (VAT) — our principles

VAT depends on the type of service (e.g., physical training, education, B2B training, digital/live services) as well as the customer's status (B2C/B2B) and country. We show VAT treatment at checkout, on the invoice, or in a written agreement.

Denmark (DK)

  • Physical training (e.g., yoga): From January 1, 2026, VAT will be charged on physical training classes held in commercially run yoga studios, among other places. Therefore, we charge 25% VAT on classes, private lessons/training, workshops, etc., when VAT is applicable.

Read more at the Danish Tax Agency: skat.dk — VAT on exercise and music lessons (from January 1, 2026)

Education and training activities

Certain educational services may be exempt from VAT under Section 13(1)(3) of the VAT Act, but the assessment depends on the nature of the service and its specific structure. The Danish Tax Agency's guidelines also contain exceptions, including that certain courses may be subject to VAT (e.g. if they are primarily aimed at businesses and are run for profit). Therefore, we always indicate the VAT status for the specific program at the time of purchase/invoicing.

EU / international (especially digital and live services)

For certain B2C virtual/live-streamed services, VAT may have to be paid in the customer's country (this applies to certain virtual events and live elements in distance learning, among other things). Conversely, for B2B, reverse charge may be relevant, depending on the service and the customer's VAT registration.

Read more about EU rules (virtual/live access from January 1, 2025): EUR-Lex — Directive (EU)2022/542 • Practical overview (Deloitte)

Practical information: If you are unsure about VAT on a specific purchase (e.g., YTT vs. course), please write to us before purchasing: info@yogabible.dk. We can also invoice B2B by agreement.
6) YTT / training courses (deposit, payment, cancellation)

Deposit (non-refundable)

Deposits for educational programs are generally non-refundable. Once the deposit has been paid, delivery can begin immediately (e.g., access to classes, learning platform, materials, or other parts of the course). The services provided upon payment of the deposit (and the number of classes/access) depend on the specific educational program and are specified at the time of purchase.

Payment obligation & cancellation

  • After deposit: Upon registration, you agree to pay the subsequent installments according to the payment plan.
  • Cancellation ≥ 90 days before the start of the course: If you give written notice at least 90 days before the start of the course, we will stop future charges. The deposit is non-refundable.
  • Udmeldelse < 90 dage før start / efter start: Som udgangspunkt ingen refund. Vi kan tilbyde flytning til fremtidigt hold afhængigt af plads og efter skriftlig aftale (evt. med ekstra gebyr).

Certification & documentation

Certification, documentation, and confirmations are generally issued only upon full payment. This also applies where the program relates to Yoga Alliance (USA).

If we cancel the training

If we cancel, we will refund all payments in full. Alternatively, you can choose to transfer to a future class.

7) Mentorship & private training

Mentorship and private coaching/training are professional guidance—not treatment and not a guarantee of specific results.

Cancellation

  • ≥ 48 hours before: Sessions can generally be rescheduled.
  • < 48 timer før: Fuld betaling opkræves / ingen refund, hvis allerede betalt.
  • Reschedule: In special cases, we may allow rebooking depending on the reason and capacity.
8) Digital services & Namaste Online (live)

Digital services can be delivered immediately after purchase (login/access). Service interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, or third-party errors.

Namaste Online (live-only)

  • Live-only: Sessions are live. Participants do not receive recordings as a rule.
  • Consent to live stream: By participating, you agree that you may be visible/audible in the stream.

If you purchase certain live/virtual services from abroad (B2C), VAT may depend on the customer's country (EU rules as of January 1, 2025). Read more: EUR-Lex — Directive (EU) 2022/542

9) Recordings, photos, and use of material (our standard)

Standard: When you participate in our courses, training programs, events, or activities, you accept that photos/videos/audio recordings may be made in the room, and that you may be visible or audible in the recordings.

Use: We may use recordings and material for teaching, documentation, quality assurance, marketing, sales, and communication across our brands, websites, social media, and platforms—unless otherwise agreed separately (in writing or clearly agreed upon in connection with the recording).

If you don't want to participate

  • Notify us: Write to info@yogabible.dk as early as possible (preferably no later than 24 hours in advance).
  • We try to adapt: We can typically offer placement in a "camera-free" zone or adjust angles.
  • Limitations: During group activities, we cannot guarantee complete exclusion from all angles in all situations.
Note: If recording/live streaming is a central part of the service (e.g., Namaste Online), participation may require accepting that you may be visible/audible.
10) Materials, copyright (IP) & prohibition of sharing

All material (manuals, PDFs, programs, texts, images, video, audio, glossary/blog content, methods, teaching design, etc.) belongs to Yoga Bible / Hot Yoga Copenhagen ApS or our licensors and is protected by copyright.

  • No recordings: Participants are not allowed to record (audio/video), photograph material, or take screenshots of teaching materials.
  • No sharing: You may not copy, share, distribute, or resell materials.
  • No commercial use: You may not use our material/content commercially without written permission.
  • Breach: Violation may result in immediate exclusion without refund and possible claims for compensation.
11) Liability & health disclaimer

Yoga and physical exercise involve a risk of injury. You participate at your own risk and must always listen to your body and follow instructions. In case of illness, pregnancy, injury, or pain, you should seek professional advice and inform the instructor.

Our teaching and content are general guidance and do not replace medical assessment.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.

12) Behavior, community, and exclusion

Yoga Bible is a professional learning environment. We do not accept harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, violations of safety instructions, or disruption of classes.

In the event of gross or repeated violations, we may terminate your participation and exclude you. Refunds will be handled in accordance with the relevant cancellation policy and applicable mandatory law.

Privacy: Do not share photos/videos of others without their explicit consent.

13) Careers / work with us (confidentiality, non-solicitation)

If you work with us as a teacher, freelancer, intern, or partner, these principles apply (always supplemented by a contract/NDA):

  • Confidentiality (strict): Student data, internal processes, prices, program design, materials, methods, and strategies are confidential—even after the collaboration has ended.
  • Non-solicit (24 months): For 24 months after the termination of the collaboration, you may not actively recruit/offer services to Yoga Bible customers/students whom you have gained access to through Yoga Bible, or otherwise attempt to redirect customers/students away from Yoga Bible.
  • Everything goes through Yoga Bible: Enquiries and collaborations related to Yoga Bible customers are handled through our official channels.
Contract precedence: Special rules may apply to employees and certain types of collaboration, and the signed contract/NDA is decisive in assessment and enforcement.
14) Complaints, choice of law & amendments

Complaints

Please contact us first at info@yogabible.dk so that we can resolve the matter quickly and fairly. If you are acting as a consumer and we cannot find a solution, you can complain via the relevant Danish complaints bodies (e.g. Nævnenes Hus). Complaints portal: kpo.naevneneshus.dk

The EU's online ODR platform has been discontinued (no new complaints from March 20, 2025, and full closure by July 20, 2025). Read more: EUR-Lex — Regulation (EU) 2024/3228

Choice of law & jurisdiction

The terms and conditions are subject to Danish law. Any disputes shall be settled by the Danish courts, unless mandatory consumer regulations stipulate otherwise. Venue: Copenhagen City Court.

Changes

We may update the terms as necessary (e.g., due to legal changes or changes in services). The version that applies to your purchase is the version you accepted at the time of purchase.
