Achieve your splits - one workshop at a time
Our Splits Course is a 4-week program with 8 × 90-minute workshops where you gradually learn to work safely and effectively with splits - both front (both sides) and center splits. The program is designed for those who want lasting results and a body that feels strong, open and stable.
- 8 × 90-minute workshops spread over 4 weeks - with time for recovery and integration.
- Every week: one technique workshop in the non-heated hall + one deeper practice in the heated hall.
- The heated sessions take place in our hot room at Hot Yoga Copenhagen (same address).
- Focus on both forward splits (right/left) and center splits - with clear techniques and variations.
Each session combines:
- Thorough warm-up & mobility training
- Forward and center split practice
- A specific focus area (e.g. hip flexors, hamstrings, rotation or creative variations)
- Warm-down & recovery with focus on nervous system and sustainable flexibility
The course is structured in three phases: Foundation & anatomy (hip flexors, hamstrings, inwards and rotation), Strength & flexibility in balance (active control and deeper stretches) stretches) and Advanced variations & creative transitions (backbending splits, arm balances and fluid entry/exits of splits). You always know what you're working on - and why.

No - the course is designed for all levels. You don't need to be able to do splits beforehand. We work step-by-step with both strength and flexibility so you learn the techniques safely and feel progress regardless of your starting point.
The entire program provides the clearest progression because each workshop builds on the previous one. You'll have time to integrate between sessions and can follow your development week by week. At the same time, the price per workshop is lower when you sign up for the full course. However, each session is designed to work as a standalone workshop if you only want to drop-in.
Each week, one of the two workshops is heated in our hot room at Hot Yoga Copenhagen (same location). Here the temperature is around 38°C and humidity around 65%. The heat makes it easier to release tension and get deeper into the stretches in a controlled and safe way. The second workshop takes place in a unheated room where we focus more on technique, strength, alignment and awareness - so you can use it in both hot and normal conditions.
Always inform the instructor of any injuries when you arrive. We work with a gradual build-up, many variations and clear alternatives so you can adapt the practice to your body. The focus is on safety, sustainable flexibility and avoiding overload.
The course is for both dedicated yoga students and teachers. As a teacher, you'll get plenty of inspiration for sequences, cues and safe ways to build splits over time. As a student, you get structured training, understanding of anatomy and concrete techniques you can take back to your own practice.
SITA BHULLER
Lead trainer - Splits & flexibility
Originally from the UK, Sita has spent most of her adult life touring as an aerialist and acrobat. For over 15 years she has worked for Cirque du Soleil and other international companies, performing and teaching all over the world - always with a focus on strength, flexibility and body control in extreme positions such as splits.
With a degree in Sport Science, Sita has a deep understanding of anatomy, movement mechanics and the balance between strength, mobility and recovery. She knows what happens in the hip flexors, hamstrings, glutes and core when working with splits - and how to do it safely and gradually so the body gets stronger instead of overloaded.
In 2017, she completed her 200-hour Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga training in Rishikesh, India. Today, she combines her experience as a performer with the calm and focus of yoga. In the Splits course at Yoga Bible, Sita guides you step by step to build flexibility and active control - with clear techniques, respect for the body's limits and room for both front and center splits in a safe and long-term way.
What are splits?
Splits are deep stretches where the legs work in opposite directions - from gentle, supported variations to full floor level. It requires hip mobility, strength and patience to work safely down towards your splits.
Our program is not about pushing yourself down in one night, but about creating space over time with technique, breathing and intelligent warm-up. We combine active stretches, strength around the hips and core, and calm, longer-held poses.
We work with all types of splits - front/longitudinal splits (right/left legs in front), center splits, variations with blocks and bolsters, and safe transitions in and out, to protect the knees, hips and lower back.
